PERFORM WEEKLY

1. Cams should be wiped clean and the periphery lubricated. Make sure the cam followers roll freely with no indication of wear. Replace cam followers at least once a year per shift.

Cams kept clean and lubricated can last 5 to 6 years per shift. Cams for standard, sawmill model sharpeners cannot be reground.

2. Grease cone screw on rocker head of No.2 sharpeners only.

3. Grease auxiliary feed arm link rod end (Part No. 4891) on No.2 sharpeners. Remove and inspect links and cone screws for wear once a year per shift.

4. Grease back feed shaft floor bearing on the Nos. 4 and 6 sharpeners only.
