Armstrong introduces a heavy-duty band saw leveler made in the USA!

The heavy duty Armstrong leveler rolls saws up to 16" wide and 65 ft long at 50 ft per minute. A built in memory recalls the settings for up to six different saws.

Non-contact Sensor

"Reads" lumps and dish right through any dirt or pitch on the saw. There is no roller to wear out.

Levels from Inside of Saw

Saws are flatter with respect to wheels and guides. Any variation in plate thickness is leveled to the outside of the saw plate.

Saw Tracker Software

Information can be downloaded to your personal computer for further analysis. Confirms the quality of the saws before, during and after leveling.

Touch Screen Control

Controls all the functions of the Leveler and gives the operator information about the condition of the saws. Rolls saws up to 50 feet per minute. Saw does not stop when rolls shift to a new track.

Built-in Memory

Allows the filer to pre-set leveling parameters for up to six saws.

Apply more pressure to sections of the saw that are badly out-of-level and a lighter pressure to areas of the saw that are only slightly out-of-level.

The Armstrong leveler can level saws as big as 16" wide and 65 feet long or as small as 3" wide.

Settings are made through a touch screen control panel. A built-in memory recalls the setting for up to six different saws. The optional Windows-based Saw Tracker software downloads information to a personal computer for further analysis of saw performance.

Saw Tracker

The optional Saw Tracker software downloads this data from the sensor and screen through a computer for further tracking and analysis of the saw conditions. Saw Tracker confirms the quality of the saws before, during and after leveling.

Hardware required to support Saw Tracker software:

• 386SX25 PC or higher with 8 MB RAM minimum

• 2 serial ports

• Mouse

• Windows 3.1 or Windows for Work Groups 3.11

• VGA color monitor

• An RS-232 cable 25 feet long is supplied with the

Saw Tracker software. A shielded RS-232 cable must be supplied by the user if the computer is to be located more than 25 feet from the Armstrong Leveler.
