ARMSTRONG SWAGES FOR CIRCULAR SAWS:

Bench-type Swages
Armstrong offers a "bench-type" swage for use on circular saws. All bench style swages come complete with rail, pivoting bracket, and setting gauge. The rail is easily mounted on the bench for stability, while the setting gauge measures the correct position of the swage to the saw.

Riding-type Swages
Armstrong’s No. 8 hand swage is a tool specifically designed for use on shingle saws. The No. 8 "rides" on top of the saw as shown in the center photo.

Bench Attachment
Armstrong also offers a bench attachment for holding circular saws on the bench during swaging and shaping (part no. 666). The attachment comes complete with centering cones for saw eyes from 7/8" to 4 " in diameter.

ARMSTRONG AIR SWAGES OFFER:

Greater Uniformity
Each stroke of the die lever is automatically completed, assuring more uniform tooth prints, smoother sawing and greater cutting capacity.

Greater Speed
Swaging can be accomplished much faster – easily keeping pace with any automatic sharpener.

Greater Ease of Operation
Armstrong air swages reduce the physical effort required in swaging. Depending on operator preference, swages can be furnished with the standard pistol grip control or with an automatic air trigger assembly.
